The Experience

What the ground
offers you

Daylight trails

Trails radiate from the campground into the surrounding foothills — easy walks to granite outcrops, steeper routes into the pines. No maps required. Just follow the elevation down.

Night skies

Light pollution is a memory here. The Milky Way is visible to the naked eye from your campsite. Bring a blanket. Stay up late. The stars don't care about your schedule.

Easy access

Directly on CA-155, reachable without a four-wheel drive or a long hike. Pull in, set up, and disappear. Wofford Heights is a short drive for supplies; the forest is your backyard.

Off the main road,

Boulder Gulch Campground is located along California State Route 155 in Wofford Heights, nestled in the eastern Sierra foothills. The drive in is straightforward; the silence after you stop is not something you find everywhere.

Sequoia National Park is within reach. The town of Wofford Heights has a grocery store and a cafe. Beyond that, it's just forest and sky.
